7-Year Workmanship Warranty

If for some unforeseen reason within 7 years of your roof being installed  there are any issues, call or email Tru Green Builders and one of our two HAAG Certified Inspectors – Residential (J. Brown # 201603225 and T. Miller # 201603226) will be dispatched to identify the issue. Following, we will send one of our experienced crews to repair the deficiency.

CertainTeed SureStartTM Warranty*

All CertainTeed roofing products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and come with a 10-year SureStartTM, non-prorated warranty that is fully transferable. Within the SureStartTM period, CertainTeed at no charge will pay to repair or replace (at its option) any shingles CertainTeed deems defective.

CertainTeed SureStartTM Plus 3-Star Coverage*

The 3-Star coverage extends the SureStartTM coverage to 20-years and is also non-prorated. The 3-Star covers the cost to tear off any defective shingles, plus the materials and labour for the repair or replacement of defective shingles.

CertainTeed SureStartTM Plus 4-Star Coverage*

The 4-Star coverage extends the SureStartTM coverage to 50-years and is non-prorated for detached single-family homes and 25-years for all other structures. The 4-star coverage covers the cost to tear off any defective shingles, the materials, labour for the repair or replacement of defective shingles, and the disposal of the defective shingles.
